Worship Ministry Weekly Update

Happy Friday!

Here’s what you need to know this week:

This Sunday

Full worship ministry is leading this week. Call time for instrumentalists, praise team, and A/V is 8:00am on stage. Call time for choir is 8:35am in the choir room.

Mark will be leading this Sunday, and our anthem is One Day (When We All Get to Heaven). Thank you, choir, for all your hard work in learning this one! View the order of worship for Sunday below.

Here’s the schedule of the anthems we have coming up for the rest of the year:

November 16 - One Day (When We All Get to Heaven)

November 23 - Break Every Chain

December 7 - He Who Is Mighty

December 14 - Let the People Sing Joy

December 21 - Noel (He Is Born)

You can listen to all of these under the Special Services tab in Planning Center. There is now an “Upcoming Anthems” service in there for you all.

Upcoming Schedule

November 26 - No rehearsal

November 30 - Praise team/rhythm section only in the morning and no kids choirs in the evening

December 10 - Final Wednesday evening rehearsal

December 17 - No rehearsal (Lottie Moon)

December 21 - Final Sunday morning of full worship ministry

Prayer Requests

  • Debbie Baker’s dad is struggling with heart failure.

  • Continue to pray for the Bagci family as they look ahead to surgery for Raegan on November 21st.

  • Continue to pray for Tracy Bruneau as she moves through these final months of chemo treatments.

  • Judy Ullery has been dealing with some health issues for a couple of weeks. Praying for her healing.

  • Elaine Seal was diagnosed with breast cancer this week. Pray for her as they look ahead to the next steps toward treatment.

  • Tabitha Rexford has asked for prayer as her family seeks affordable housing.

  • Pray for Ms. Drucilla, as she’s been dealing with a rough case of bronchitis.

  • Paige Gazaway’s dad is on hospice and fully bedridden. Continue to pray for him and all those involved in his care.

  • Joe Bargovan passed away this week. His visitation is tomorrow (Saturday) from 1:00-3:00, with funeral to follow at Hooper Huddleston and Horner.

  • A huge praise from Alina Deason: Her nephew who was recently born premature and had a grade 4 stroke is now showing normal signs of development! Her sister has been very encouraged and strengthened by everyone’s prayers. Continue to lift up this sweet family.

  • Pray for the man God is preparing to be our next Worship Pastor. Pray for our church leadership and the search team as they work through the process.
