Care Center Emphasis Month
January is Care Center Emphasis month! Please consider making a contribution to help us serve those in need in Cookeville. You may bring any donations to the worship center and place them in the barrels at the bottom of the platform. Here is a list of needed hygiene items, with suggested sizes:
- Shampoo (12 oz)
- Conditioner (12 oz)
- Bath soap (wrapped multi pack bars that we can divide easily)
- Body wash (12 oz)
- Tooth brushes
- Dental floss
- Laundry soap (75 oz)
- Dish soaps (16-24 oz)
- Toilet tissue large quantity boxes are fine if individually-wrapped or 4-count packages)
- Facial tissue
- Shave cream
- Disposal razors
- Baby diapers & wipes
The Care Center is a partnership of local churches that supplies food, clothes, and counseling to people in need in our community. The Care Center is located at 406 Short Street, and the hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 12:00pm – 2:00pm.

To donate clothes or other items to The Care Center, leave it at the drop-off behind the building. The Care Center does not accept donations of furniture. Donations are accepted Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM and Tuesday, Thursday 7:00 AM until 10:00AM.
The Care Center is always in need of volunteers to help sort through donations, organize items, as well as minister to the people that come through. If you are interested please contact the director, Connie Billbe at (931) 520-4881. Volunteer opportunities are available to those associated with one of the partnering churches.
