Life Groups
At Stevens Street Baptist Church, we want to help every person Find Community through a Life Group. Being connected with a Life Group helps you grow in your relationship with God and with others on a weekly basis through studying God’s Word together. We also believe that when you Find Community in a Life Group that you will truly learn more about who Stevens Street is as you begin to build new relationships with others who are in a similar stage or phase of life as you.
Life Groups for all ages and stages of life are offered on Sunday mornings at 9a and 10:30a, as well as Wednesday nights at 6p. If you would like more information about any of our Life Groups, please visit us at Guest Services in our lobby or contact Tommy Redding at tredding@stevensstreet.org.
Our Life Groups follow a sermon text-based study that will focus on key spiritual truths from the weekly Sunday morning Bible text. Audio/video for each sermon can be found by clicking here. Life Group discussion guides for each week can be found here.
D-Groups
The third step in our Discipleship Pathway is to participate in a Discipleship Group, or a “D-Group.” A D-Group is a gender-specific, closed group of 3-5 believers who meet together weekly for the purpose of accelerated spiritual transformation. D-groups form through pre-existing, meaningful relationships with other believers in environments like Life Group.
Women's Ministry
From Bible studies and conferences to small get-togethers and community events, our women's ministry serves to connect women from all walks of life, helping them grow in their faith together. For more information, contact Mandy Rawls by email, or click below for upcoming women's ministry events.
Men's Ministry
All men face common challenges as they seek to be who God has called them to be in their families, marriages, and jobs. Our men’s ministry desires to help men become Iron Men, based on Proverbs 27:17, who encourage each other and grow in their relationship with Christ. Senior Adult Ministry
At Stevens Street, we believe that senior adults have a wealth of wisdom and experience to offer. Our senior adult ministry “The Gathering” is a ministry that seeks to provide opportunities for senior adults to grow spiritually, fellowship with one another, and reach lost and unchurched senior adults in our community. This ministry offers a variety of activities and programs, including Bible studies, worship opportunities, social events, service opportunities, outings, and more!
