This Sunday

Full worship ministry is leading this week. Call time for instrumentalists, praise team, and A/V is 8:00am on stage. Call time for choir is 8:35am in the choir room.

Mark will be leading this Sunday. View the order of worship below! Please note we are singing Isaiah 53. We’ll be leading this as a congregational song.

ORDER OF WORSHIP

Upcoming Anthems

Thank you to everyone who chimed in to let us know your favorite Christmas anthems! The three top-voted songs were He Who Is Mighty, Let the People Sing Joy, and Noel (He Is Born).

Here’s the schedule of the anthems we have coming up in the month of November:

November 9 - He Leadeth Me

November 16 - One Day (When We All Get to Heaven)

November 23 - Break Every Chain

You can listen to all of these under the Special Services tab in Planning Center. There is now an “Upcoming Anthems” service in there for you all.

Upcoming Schedule

November 26 - No rehearsal

November 30 - Praise team/rhythm section only in the morning and no kids choirs in the evening

December 10 - Final Wednesday evening rehearsal

December 21 - Final Sunday morning of full worship ministry

Prayer Requests

  • Debbie Baker’s dad is struggling with heart failure.

  • Darlene Holder’s sister is having shoulder surgery on November 11th in Nashville.

  • Continue to pray for the Bagci family as they look ahead to surgery for Raegan.

  • Continue to pray for Tracy Bruneau as she moves through these final months of chemo treatments.

  • Judy Ullery has been dealing with some health issues for a couple of weeks. Praying for her healing.

  • Pray for the man God is preparing to be our next Worship Pastor. Pray for our church leadership and the search team as they work through the process.

An Extra (Recycled from Andy’s email last October.)

October 31 is known as Reformation Day, the day commemorating Martin Luther’s famed nailing of his 95 theses to the castle church door in Wittenberg, Germany. This is the event that we typically look back to as the beginning of the Protestant Reformation, a great recovery of Scriptural truth in the church.

Every year I’m reminded to go back and listen to this album of music featuring the late great theologian, R.C. Sproul. Here’s the first song in the album, a brief re-telling of Luther’s story with some great orchestral and choral accompaniment. Enjoy!

See you Sunday!
