Full worship ministry is leading this week. Call time for instrumentalists, praise team, and A/V is 8:00am on stage. Call time for choir is 8:35am in the choir room.

Message from Lee Bailey
Hello, all! You may be interested in the progress of our worship pastor search team. I wanted to let you know that several things have happened internally to allow us to begin the process of collecting resumes.
The search team process takes several meetings to define the job description, line-by-line, which took some time. Then we take another block of time to look at subjective and objective things that would make a candidate a good fit for SSBC.
Those characteristics are not set in stone, per se, but it helps the team to make sure we are all on the same page when it comes to who we are looking for.
Years of experience and educational requirements are examples of some of things we needed to make sure we were all on the same page about.
After that, we post the job.
Right now, we have the job posted in two places, SBC.net (the job board for all Southern Baptists - nation-wide) and the state wide Tennessee Baptist Convention newspaper, the Baptist and Reflector. Over the next several days we will also post at several Southern Baptist Seminaries.
Resumes will begin to come in over the next several weeks and months. The timing of all of this is good in that we can allow the holidays coming up to create more time to allow resumes to come in.
Please continue to pray for the man God is preparing and for the search team.

Christmas Anthem Voting
We are celebrating Christmas a little different this year at Stevens Street. In place of our normal Christmas worship service, we will have a church-wide fellowship event. (More info to come!) Our leadership team would love your input on which anthems we use for the three Sundays in December leading up to Christmas!
I've put together a list of songs from our Christmas services in recent years. You can view and listen to the songs on Planning Center. Go to the Special Services tab and select the plan for December 25th (no, this is not a scheduled service).
To listen to the songs back-to-back, just follow these steps:

There are three icons in the top right corner of the service page. Click the music notes in the middle. (Extra points if you can name that rhythm!)
Select "media player".
From the app:
Go to Plans > Special Services > December 25, 2025.
Click the "Play" button just above the first song.

November 30 - Praise team/rhythm section only in the morning and no kids choirs in the evening
Prayer Requests
Debbie Baker’s dad is struggling with heart failure.
Darlene Holder’s sister is having shoulder surgery on November 11th in Nashville.
Reagan Bagci’s scan this week showed no new areas of concern. Surgery is still in the future but not yet scheduled.
Continue to pray for Tracy Bruneau as she moves through these final months of chemo treatments.
Pray for the man God is preparing to be our next Worship Pastor. Pray for our church leadership and the search team as they work through the process.
