An Extra

I just wanted to share a great article about biblical theology from one of my favorite professors and authors, Jim Hamilton. Simply put, biblical theology is the practice of embracing the interpretive perspective of the biblical authors, seeing the story of Scripture as it unfolds from Genesis to Revelation. It’s key to understanding and interpreting Scripture on its own terms, not simply reading ourselves into the Bible.

Everybody is a theologian, because everybody thinks and says things about God. The question is: are you a theologian growing in faithfulness to how God reveals Himself in His Word? We should all seek to be better biblical theologians as we study and apply Scripture to life. Dr. Hamilton gives some great tips in this article. Check it out here.

Have a great weekend, and I’ll see you Sunday.
