Happy Thursday!
Christmas in Cookeville is tomorrow! Everyone has done so great with the prep work leading up to this weekend. Thank you for your patience and endurance. I know the Gospel will be proclaimed and Jesus will be glorified.
Here’s what you need to know this week.
This Sunday
Yes, we still have church this Sunday, and full worship ministry is leading. Call time for instrumentalists, praise team, and A/V is 8:00am on stage.
***Important change: choir will NOT meet in the choir room at 8:30, due to the different stage set up. Please simply fill the choir loft at 10 minutes before service.
The sermon text for the day comes from Luke 1:26-38, and Pastor Scott will be preaching.
We’re singing Angels We Have Heard on High, Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery, Holy Forever, and O Come All You Unfaithful.
Notes
Christmas in Cookeville is Friday and Sunday on December 13 and December 15.
Dress for the services is “all black with a pop of red.” Please do not wear perfume.
Call times for both services on Friday and Sunday are 4:45p for orchestra and 5:15p for choir. If you are coming from work and will be late, that’s ok!
An Extra
This Sunday morning, we are singing a great (new-ish) Christmas worship song that we introduced a couple years ago: O Come All You Unfaithful. Listen below if you need the refresher and/or want to be encouraged today that Christ is born for you.
See you Friday night,
Andy
