I hope you’ve all had a great week. I just wanted to send a quick update and some schedule reminders.
Banquet follow-up
Thank you to everyone who helped make our banquet a success last Monday, and a special thanks to April, Mandy, Dr. A, and the table hosts who handled all the little details. I hope you left the event encouraged.
And on behalf of my family, thank you for the kind, thoughtful, and creative gifts that you gave us. We have been dutifully and expectantly waiting to open the gifts on the proper day, and it has been such a wonderful thing to look forward to and enjoy. Thank you for loving my family like that. I am so thankful for you!
Upcoming schedule
Dec. 24 : One 10:00a morning service and Christmas Eve service at 5:00p. Both services tomorrow are lead by band and praise team only.
Dec. 27: No Wednesday evening rehearsals (or activities at church)
Dec. 31: Services at 9:00 and 10:30a. Led by band and praise team only.
Jan. 3: All regular Wednesday rehearsals resume.
Note for tomorrow’s teams
Morning rehearsal tomorrow will begin at 9:00a. Rehearsal for evening service will be at 3:30p.
Prayer request
Please be in prayer for Kathleen Marshall (alto). She is recovering from flu and pneumonia, and is awaiting results from a PET scan from Thursday to see if her cancer has advanced. She has an oncologist appointment on Tuesday.
Baby shower
As we mentioned on Sunday, you’re invited to a baby shower to honor Amy Lou and Josh Gentry as they anticipate the birth of their baby boy. It will take place in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday, December 31 at 12:00p. They are registered on Amazon.
