April Langford
April Langford's love of music was fostered at an early age, being enrolled in piano lessons at the young age of four. Since then, she has always pursued music as her calling. April obtained a bachelor's degree in Music Education at Tennessee Tech University in 2012. She has studied oboe under Professor William Woodworth, and piano under Dr. Catherine Godes. During her time at TTU, she was a member of the Golden Eagle Marching Band, Symphony Band, Wind Ensemble, University Orchestra, and Bryan Symphony Orchestra. April worked with high school and university drum majors for many years, training them in conducting and leadership. She began teaching piano at the School of Performing Arts in 2008, and stepped into the role of Administrator in May of 2015. April has been a member of Stevens Street Baptist Church since 2004, and has served in the worship ministry since that time.
Rebecca Rosales
Rebecca Rosales is a pianist and flutist originally from Waukesha, WI. Mrs. Rosales started piano lessons at the age of 5, and continued to take lessons until her move to Tennessee in 2009. In high school, she began teaching at a piano studio that provided school credit for music to home school students. Also while in high school, she played flute in the Vanderbilt Curb Youth Symphony Orchestra, Page High School Marching Band, and the Chapel Praise Band. After graduation, she attended Tennessee Technological University where she graduated with a Music Education degree under the instruction of Dr. Roger Martin and Dr. Mary Matthews. While in college, she was the principal flutist of the Wind Ensemble, a drum major of the Golden Eagle Marching Band, and an accompanist at First Baptist Church in Cookeville. After graduating in 2020, she started teaching at the SPA and has continued to do so while also accompanying for recitals in the Cookeville area, teaching Drum Majors at Tennessee Tech, and working at Greg Groth Attorney’s office as a receptionist. Rebecca has been a member of several churches since moving to Tennessee, but she and her husband are currently settled at Stevens Street Baptist Church and have been since they married in 2020. Together they play in the orchestra serving the Lord with the gifts He has given them.
Stacie Parkins
Mrs. Stacie attended TN Tech University, where she received her Bachelor's of Music Education in 2010. In 2023, she received her Master's in Music Education from Anderson University (Anderson, SC). She has taught elementary music at Northeast Elementary since 2012, and started teaching clarinet and saxophone lessons at SPA in August of 2025.
