WEEKLY UPDATE FOR THE WORD
This week, I want to discuss “Who’s Your One?”
The phrase “Who’s Your One?” is a phrase we share in our D-Groups. We want every person praying for a specific person in their life that needs to know Christ. Our D-Group members pray for each other and for the “One” on a regular basis. Our prayer is that God will provide an opportunity to share the Gospel with them or at a minimum, invite them to attend church.
During The Word, we will have a week where we challenge everyone in the church to pray about who could be their “One”. We will also provide a way that people can share their commitment to do this so others can be praying for them and their “One”. We will also provide a couple opportunities for everyone to learn how to share their story and how to share their faith with others. We want to do everything we can to equip our church members so they feel comfortable sharing their testimony and sharing the Gospel with others.
Next week, I will share how Life Groups can be intentional in their involvement during this series.
T-SHIRT SIZES
At our last Life Group Leader meeting, I collected shirt sizes from everyone. We are having shirts made for The Word and would love for you to wear on the occasional Sunday or Wednesday at church. This is a great way to keep the series in front of everyone as we discuss how important it is for everyone to participate.

NEW ROOM LOCATIONS FOR LIFE GROUPS
Don’t forget that 9a Life Groups will move to their new locations on Sunday, June 28th. I have made a small update to the list for one group, but other than that, nothing else on the list has changed. Please review the list below and share this info with your group members.
Moving on June 28th will allow us to get everyone settled in their new locations before students and our CYAM move. It also prevents us from having too many people searching for new locations on Promotion Sunday (August 2nd for our kids, students, and our CYAM).
We will have slides in the lobby, as well as a QR code for people to scan, so they can see where the new rooms are located. Guest Services will have this info too if anyone needs assistance.
UPDATED CARE CENTER NEEDS (JUNE)
In an effort to create another opportunity for you and your Life Group to serve together, we sharing monthly needs for our Care Center. We hope you find this is an easy way to encourage your group to impact the world together.
The current needs for this month are:
Diapers
Baby wipes
All items can be placed in the Care Center donation box next to the Fellowship Hall.
