DO YOU USE THE LEAD APP?

If you don’t use the LEAD app, let me tell you why you should!

The LEAD app (iPhone/Android) is an app connected to our church software, allowing you to access phone numbers and emails for group members, check the church calendar, take attendance for your group, and so much more.

In order for you as a Life Group leader to have access to all of the benefits of this app, the email address you register with needs to be the same one that we have in our records. If you are unsure about this, contact Teresa Sliger and she can take care off this for you within a matter of minutes.

Once you have access, you can use the menu at the bottom to look for your Life Group, view the church calendar, or look for specific people in our church. If you want to view everyone in your Life Group, click “Groups” and scroll down until you find your group (see the picture for reference). Click on it and you will see a section titled “Members”. Select that you will see everyone that we have listed in your group. You can click on their name and view the phone number or email if you would like to contact them.

This is a great way access information quickly so you can text someone in your group that you haven’t see in a while, especially if you don’t know their phone number!

If you have any questions about the LEAD app, like how to take attendance with it instead of using the attendance sheet every week, please let me know and I would be more than happy to help you with it.

THIS WEEK’S LESSON

I’ve had a couple people ask me if this week’s lesson is correct. The answer is yes.

Scott will preach on adultery this week and then we will come back to anger on November 30th. When looking at our current passages, anger would come next if going in order of the verses. Since Scott will be out of town on the 30th though, he elected to switch the passages and have Micah speak on the 30th about anger.

From here on out, the messages and lessons will stay in the order we read them in the Bible.

FRIENDSGIVING

Thank you again to all of you for promoting Friendsgiving in your Life Group! This was probably our best year ever of having people commit early to bring dishes. We are only short one turkey, but we will likely supplement that by buying a couple hams for the meal.

Our College & Young Adult Ministry is beyond grateful for the love that our church shows it on a regular basis. Thanks again for helping us provide a great meal and a great event for them this coming Sunday!

CARDS TO SEND GROUP MEMBERS

If you would like to send a quick note to someone who has been missing from your Life Group, we now have postcards for you! You can find these inside the Life Group Leader Resource Closet next to room C211 upstairs.

Even if you have already texted or called a missing group member, it’s still great to receive something with a little bit of personal touch in the mail letting you know that you’ve been missed. Feel free to grab some today and start writing some people you haven’t seen lately!

CARE CENTER NEEDS

In an effort to create another opportunity for you and your Life Group to serve together, we have created a list of monthly needs for our Care Center. Instead of saying that general donations are needed, we felt it was best to designate a specific need for each month so it is simple for people to know how they can contribute. We hope you find this is an easy way to encourage your group to impact the world together.

The need for November is: HEATERS.

All items can be placed in the Care Center donation box next to the Fellowship Hall.
