The Word Series
This week begins a year long emphasis on connecting a daily Bible Reading Plan with the Sunday morning sermons, Adult Life Group lessons, church-wide memory verses, and more. “The Word” will be a great opportunity for our entire church to grow closer to the Lord. The Kids Ministry will be participating with the monthly memory verses and with a special Kids Reading Plan. You can access a digital copy below.
Welcome to a New Year of Kids Ministry!
We will continue to kick-off the new school year this week as we begin our regular Wednesday evening schedule.
Wednesdays:
Kindergarten - 4th Grade: Kids participate in TeamKid where they travel to four different rotations each week for Bible Study, Activities, Missions, and Games.
5th & 6th Grade: Preteens have their own Bible Study with games and small groups to help them prepare for the transition to the Student Ministry.
Sundays at 9:00am - August 16, 23 & 30
We will be offering another session of the Kids New Believer’s Class starting on August 16 at 9:00am. This 3-week class is for kids that have recently accepted Christ and want to follow in baptism or for kids that are asking lots of faith-based questions. Kids Choir - August 9
The Worship Ministry will start Kids Choirs this Sunday, August 9 at 5:00pm in the Kids Ministry area. For this school year, the Kids Choirs team would like for you to register your child if they plan to participate. Please click the button below for the registration form. Important Kids Ministry Reminders
Check-In: A parent, guardian, or teenage sibling must be present at the Check-In Desk when checking in your child. This is for the safety and security of all of our kids and families. Once checked in, children need to enter the Kids Ministry area.
Church Lobby: Please do not allow your children to play, run, or spend time in the church lobby unsupervised. To assist with Wednesday nights, we open the Kids Ministry area at 5:30pm for kids to hang out.

Kids Ministry Lost & Found
If your child is missing a Bible, jacket, water bottle, or other items, please check the Lost & Found basket at the Kids Ministry Check-In Desk. All items will be donated soon!
Kids Explorer Bible
Sometimes families ask about a good Bible to purchase for their child. The Kids Explorer Bible (Christian Standard Bible translation) goes along with our Sunday morning curriculum with special connections. There are many great options, but this one has been a good one for kids and families. Below are a few links to places to purchase one for your child.
New Resources in the Church Library
The Church Library has a new section for kids featuring age-appropriate and family-friendly chapter books. The Church Library is in room A101, which across from the covered drop-off entrance. If you would like to check out theses resources, you can visit the Church Library before or after services on Sundays or Wednesdays. Please note, parents need to be with their children when visiting the Church Library. For any questions, you can email the Church Library team at library@stevensstreet.org.
