Kids Ministry Leader Update
Hello Kids Ministry leaders! A new school year is upon us, and I am excited to see how the Lord uses each of us in the lives of the kids and their families. Thank you for your dedication to serve, lead, and care!
The Word Series
During the month of August, our entire church will begin an new emphasis on connecting a personal Bible reading plan with sermons, Adult Life Group lessons, church-wide memory verses, and more! For the Kids Ministry we will be connecting with “The Word” by focusing on the monthly memory verses and a special Kids Bible Reading Plan.
The 5-day reading plan will lead up to Sundays. That means we will pass out reading plans to all kids starting this Sunday, August 2. The first Sunday morning worship service connected to “The Word” will be on the following week, August 9. There will be special memory verse posters in each classroom. If you are able to spend a few moments each week focusing on it, that would be extremely helpful. On Sunday mornings we will be talking about the memory verse during our Big Room time.

Sunday Mornings
Promotion Sunday: This Sunday, August 2, all of the kids will be moving up to their new grade.
Leader Arrival Time: For the first couple of Sundays in August, it would be helpful for Sunday morning leaders to arrive a few minutes earlier to help welcome your new group of kids.
Wednesday Nights
Promotion Wednesday: Next Wednesday, August 5, all of the kids will be moving up to their new grade.
TeamKid Curriculum: We will start a new session of the TeamKid Curriculum, called All-In, starting on August 5. There will be new binders in your classroom on Wednesday. In the meantime, you can access the curriculum below.
Leader Arrival Time: If any Wednesday night leaders are able to be there by 5:30pm for the first few weeks, that would be extremely helpful.

August 2, 2026: Jesus Read the Isaiah Scroll
Promotion Sunday - All of the kids will move up a grade on this day.
August 9, 2026: The Good Samaritan

August 23, 2026: Jesus Taught about Prayer
August 30, 2026: The Parable of the Loving Father
