Service of Worship

What does a service of worship at SSBC look like?

SSBC values corporate worship as the lifeblood of a healthy church. It is commanded in Scripture and is intended to encourage, edify, and strengthen the believer (Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16, 1 Timothy 4:13, Hebrews 10:24-25). The corporate worship service at SSBC includes worship through preaching and a blended musical style led by the Worship Choir and Orchestra. SSBC also observes the church’s two prescribed ordinances: the Lord’s Supper (every other month) and believer’s baptism. Sunday morning services last approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. Sunday evening and Wednesday services last about an hour.
