The Women's Ministry at Stevens Street Baptist Church is committed to weaving the principles of biblical womanhood into the daily lives of women as they Worship, Mature and Serve the Lord together. This is achieved through many paths from personal small group Bible studies to challenging large group studies; from fellowshipping together and sharing to playing with and teaching our children; from large community events with nationally acclaimed guest speakers to reaching out and helping a single mom. This ministry is focused on women maturing in their faith and becoming the servants that God desires for them to be.
The Elizabeth Circle
The Elizabeth Circle was created to help expecting mothers through their pregnancy, the baby’s arrival, and the beginning stages of motherhood. This concept was taken from the relationship of Mary, the mother of Jesus, and Elizabeth. Therefore, we pair an expectant mother (a Mary) with a mentor mother (an Elizabeth). This is also available for women who are looking to adopt. Click here for more information.
