Women's Ministry 

The leadership of the Women's Ministry at Stevens Street Baptist Church is committed to weaving the principles of Biblical womanhood into the daily lives of women as they Worship, Mature and Serve the Lord together.  This is achieved through many paths from personal small group Bible studies, to challenging large group studies; from fellowshipping together and sharing, to playing with and teaching our children; from large community events with nationally acclaimed guest speakers to reaching out and helping a lonely single mom.  This ministry is focused on women maturing in their faith and becoming the servants that God desires for them to be.

Our new logo symbolizes the importance of being Rooted and Grounded in Love as we are told in Scripture. The prayer of the Women’s Ministry Leadership Team is that we might be used by God to accomplish the heart of Ephesians 3:16-19.

“16that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height — 19to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:16-19).

All of the areas of the Women’s Ministry are led by women who are committed to helping you contact other women and to love each other as Christ loves us.
