Welcome to the Preschool Ministry page!  The vision of SSBC's Preschool Ministry is to help families to pass on a spiritual heritage to the children of this generation (Deuternomy 6:4-9). The people who work in the Preschool Ministry want to be used by God to help parents raise mature children who have a love and passion for Jesus Christ and other people.  It is our hope that these children will be more fully equipped to live Godly lives and share the love of Jesus with the world.

Janna Shope

Janna Shope has been a Christian since she was in grade school. She loves the Lord with all her heart, soul and mind.  God has blessed her with a husband, Greg, and a beautiful daughter, Cassie. They have been at Stevens Street for several years now and love the church.

Janna is currently serving as the Interim Children’s Minister.  Janna served as the director at a preschool in the Cookeville area for 7 years before deciding to stay home with her daughter.  Now that her daughter is in school, God has given her the opportunity to work with children again.  God is doing a great work in the Children’s Department, and He deserves all of the glory and honor for that.  Janna looks forward to serving both you and your children!
