Becoming a Member is Simple

We believe God’s desire for any Christian is membership in a local body of believers. That may be here at Stevens Street Baptist Church. The scripture tells us that God “placed the members, each one of them, in the body, just as He desired.” (1 Cor. 12:18) Someone that desires to become a member at Stevens Street should match up with the following:

  • Have a personal, saving relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Follow in Believer's Baptism
  • Attend New Member Connection

New Member Connection

New Member Connection is a 3 hour session that meets directly after the second Sunday morning service. The next scheduled one is Sunday, May 6.

At the New Member Connection you will have an opportunity to discover the church purpose and the church's ministries (in which you will have opportunity to serve or to be served).  Church membership is discussed and opportunity is given to ask questions.  During this meeting, someone will help you find a small group if you do not already have one. If you desire more information on the New Member Connection, you can either contact us (931-526-6398) or you may go ahead and pre-register for our next meeting of the New Member Connection.
