Need Prayer?
The Prayer Ministry of SSBC is called “Rise and Pray” and is designed to encourage believers to pray for individuals within the church, including their own
families, and for the church as a whole.
The use of the Pattern for Prayer, below, is encouraged for those who regularly pray for the church.
- Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name – worship of the Father
- Thy kingdom come – allegiance to God’s sovereignty
- Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven – submission to His will
- Give us this day our daily bread – ask for His provision
- And forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven out debtors – forgiveness of debts
- And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil – watchfulness and deliverance
- For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen – worship

Specific requests submitted by the people of SSBC are regularly lifted up in prayer by those involved in “Rise and Pray”. If you would like to have someone pray for you, you can type your prayer request and information in the form below and click “Submit”. Your request and information is sent to a SSBC staff member who will communicate your request to someone who has committed to pray.
