Men's Ministries
Our men are committed to being men who worship, mature and serve. They express this commitment by being focused on being a part of and forming LifeGroups for men. The Men's Ministry has groups that meet at various times and locations during the week. We strongly encourage the men of the church to continue in this commitment. As a result of this focus we always have something new and improved on the schedule for the men. The leadership of this ministry will assist you in connecting to a men’s group if you desire, or to be part of starting a completely new group. We started Men’s Fraternity in 2009 and plan to continue in the future. This year we will be continuing with the third years study called "The Great Adventure". As a result of its great success and the continued demand for it we will also be repeating the first and second year study called "The Quest for Authentic Manhood" and "Winning at Work and Home".
"The Quest for Authentic Manhood"starts Sunday Oct. 9th (4:00-5:30 Pm)
Free Donuts and Great Coffee. This study is the foundational level-- or ground floor-- of manhood. This 24-session study focuses on a man's core identity and gives an overview of basic manhood issues. It will help men deal with various identity issues by looking back at past wounds and other things that may have distorted their idea of biblical masculinity. Throughout the course of the study, men will learn how to clearly define manhood and will finally be able to give a succinct and passionate answer to the questions: "What is a man?" and "What am I living to be?"
"Winning at Work & Home" Starts Tuesday Oct. 11th (6:00 -7:30 am)
Free Donuts and Great Coffee! Winning at Work and Home, a 16-session study, focuses on the two areas that are central to a man's life: career and family. It will begin to build the walls of manhood through study dealing with a man's chief responsibilities. It explores how a man can enjoy and engage his work and how he can relate to a woman in a whole new way.
"The Great Adventure" Starts Thursday Oct. 13th (6:00 - 7:30 Am)
Free Donuts and Great Coffee! The Great Adventure is a 20-week study that explores a man and his world beyond the every day. It helps a man find his "unique fit" in life - one that is realistic, thrilling, and deeply satisfying. Invite a friend, form a group, and be a part of the action.
BASS (men’s breakfast)
Each month the men of Stevens Street meet for a great time of fellowship on the second Saturday of each month at 8:00 AM. As with everything that the men do, there is always a great testimony or guest speaker to challenge them to be men who are worshiping, maturing and serving.
