Leader Bios

Dave Kruse

Dave Kruse serves as our Student Minister. He has been working with teenagers in some capacity since 1993, starting as a volunteer and first serving as a minister in 2002.  He holds a B.B.A. from Belmont University and a Master of Divinity in Christian Education and Leadership from Southern Seminary.  When Dave is not immersed in the lives of teens, their families and his leaders, he loves to spend time with his wife Melissa, read a good book, enjoy a great cup of coffee, listen to music or play video games.

Ashley Dyer, Intern

Ashley graduated from Tennessee Tech in 2006. She got her Masters in Christian Education with an emphasis in college ministry from Southern Seminary. She has been a member of Stevens Street Baptist Church since 1999 and on staff since 2009. She has 3 main passions in her life: Jesus, college students and missions.
