FAQ's
Q. What should I expect in a service of worship at SSBC?
A. SSBC values corporate worship as the lifeblood of a healthy church. It is commanded in Scripture and is intended to encourage, edify and strengthen the believer (Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16, 1 Timothy 4:13, Hebrews 10:24-25). The corporate worship service at SSBC includes worship through preaching and a blended musical style led by the Worship Choir and Orchestra. SSBC also observes the church’s two prescribed ordinances: the Lord’s Supper (every other month) and believer’s baptism. Sunday morning services last about one hour and fifteen minutes. Sunday evening and Wednesday services last about an hour.
Q. What should I wear to a service of worship at SSBC?
A. There is no dress code. Visitors and members are encouraged to be themselves. This will not look the same for everyone, and what people wear for services of worship at SSBC is often diverse.
Q. Can my children come to the service of worship with me?
A. Absolutely! Children are welcome in all worship services. Sunday School classes, where the Bible is taught weekly, are offered for children of all ages. Nursery classes are also available for children two and under.
Q. How can I find the right Sunday School classes for me and my family?
A. Click on the link below for help finding a Life Group or Sunday School class
