Connect and Mature
Imagine a funnel – large at the top, narrow at the bottom, designed to move liquid to a destination. Fusion’s weekly opportunities are similar.
Serving as an opportunity for youth to check out Fusion, Wednesday night is the youth worship service. This is the top of the funnel and is intended for anyone who would like to join. Students are provided an opportunity to worship, be challenged by God’s Word, and connect with peers and adults who will take interest in them. This gathering incorporates music, videos, a spoken challenge, and the opportunity for students to respond as they come before God. Doors open at 5:15 pm, and this time together lasts until around 7:15 pm.
Students also gather together on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am and 10:30 am in the Student Center. This is the middle of the funnel where Fusion strives to move youth from Wednesday worship to Sunday groups. They begin in a large group and then transition into smaller discussion groups. Students join their peers to look in God’s Word for truth and discuss ways to apply it to their lives.
LifeGroups meet on Sunday evenings at 5:45. As students mature in their faith, they are encouraged to join a LifeGroup. Here they will join other students in more concentrated Bible study and encourage each other in all that is going on in their lives. LifeGroups use Bible study, mission opportunities, group outings and other tools to challenge students to put their faith into action. LifeGroup leaders strive to develop an environment that fosters biblical community through growth, encouragement, care and evangelism.
